Caplansky’s Deli

One of the first things Glen D’Souza and I did that got attention beyond trade publications. I still love that two very clearly non-Jewish guys were able to figure out how, visually and linguistically, to speak the language of the deli in an authentic way. Fantastic, detailed illustrations by Geoff Donovan, in the style of the Ketubah, or Jewish wedding scroll, but with imagery taken from the restaurant.
