President’s Choice Insider’s Report - Summer Apologizes

The first campaign I ever sold as a full-time copywriter and it’s still some of my favourite writing. My first ever radio spots, directed by Terry O’Reilly and voiced by Tom Kane. It was all downhill from there.

I wrote these immediately after attending Terry’s two-day seminar on writing radio ads. Clearly money well spent by the agency.

“Our buys just like digging!”

It is very fun to stick your friends’ names in spots, especially when you can refer to them as a dork.

We still call that trickle of sweat down your back “the saline centipede” in our house.
